Conservation

In the Pacific Northwest, we're used to thinking of water as plentiful and widely available. With continuing population growth and climate changes, our region's water supplies will need to meet increased future water demands - some areas in the region sooner rather than later.

The Consortium is committed to developing and implementing water conservation programs that educate the public about water-related issues. The Conservation Program targets a diverse range of users including residential customers, property managers, children, school teachers, industry partners, and landscape professionals. These programs include a summer marketing campaign, our website, schools programs, community events and partnerships, and public education outreach.
