Emergency Preparedness

The Department of Homeland Security awarded the Consortium a $176,000 grant under the Urban Area Security Initiative in September 2007.

The grant award will be used by the Consortium to purchase three portable water distribution systems that can dispense water to the public in the event of an emergency. Learn more

The Consortium's website won first place recognition for large utilities by the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the AWWA in 2007.
